General information : Camphor is used to purify and cleanse a Home, Business or Temple of all negative energies, a preparation for celebration and ceremony, to leave the space pure and clean so that it will create an environment that attracts joy and health, and contain these positive energies for those who pass within. It is used as an incense in the evening meditation to produce dreams of prophecy and divination, and may also be used in similar fashion with the Tarot. Camphor is burned on Charcoal Tablets as Purification Incense to banish evil and is highly recommended to use during meditation.

In Hindu tradition, burning camphor is offered in honor of Ganesh.
